Car Logo Quiz
Guess the car brand from its logo. 6 levels that get harder as you go, plus 3 bonus rounds.
Which car brand is this?
Car logos are trademarks of their owners and are shown here only so you can recognise them.
Leaderboard
Best score on each level and bonus round, added up. The weekly board starts fresh every Monday.
This car quiz tests one thing: can you name a car brand from its badge alone? Every logo has the brand name cut out, so Subaru's stars, Peugeot's lion and Alfa Romeo's serpent have to speak for themselves. It starts as an easy car brand quiz and ends with logos even car spotters argue about.
How to play
- Look at the logo and pick the brand out of four names. On a keyboard, press 1 to 4.
- You have three lives per level. The lives you keep become stars: no mistakes means three stars.
- Answer fast for bonus points, and build a streak: three right in a row doubles your points, six triples them.
- Stuck? Each level gives you one 50/50 and one country hint, at half points.
- After every answer you get a short fact about the logo and a link to its full history.
- Every day there is a Daily 5: five logos from easy to hard, the same for every player. Play it once a day to keep your streak going, and share your squares.
- Passing levels opens bonus rounds with the logos you already know, shown as silhouettes, close-ups or old versions.
- Pass a level and you can put your nickname on the leaderboard. Your best score on each level counts, so replays can only help.

Frequently asked questions
How does the car logo quiz work?
There are 6 levels of 10 logos each. Pick the right brand out of four names. You have three lives per level, and every life you still have at the end is a star. Finish a level to unlock the next one, which is harder: everyday badges first, then other countries' brands, sports car makers, Chinese brands and defunct classics. Passing levels also opens 3 bonus rounds: silhouettes, close-ups and old logos.
How many car logos are in the quiz?
269 logos: 201 current brand logos, 30 to 36 per level, plus 68 old logos for the Time Machine round. Every logo belongs to one level, and a replay shows the logos you haven't seen yet first, so the same logo rarely comes back.
What is the Daily 5?
Five logos a day, one each from levels 1 to 4 and a hard one at the end, which is a rare brand or an old logo. Everyone gets the same five, so you can compare results with friends. It has no lives and no hints, a new one opens every day at midnight UTC, and playing on consecutive days builds your streak.
How are points counted?
A right answer is worth 100 points plus up to 50 for answering fast. Three right answers in a row double your points, six in a row triple them. Using a hint (50/50 or the brand's country) halves the points for that logo.
Which car logos are easiest to confuse?
Hyundai's slanted H and Honda's upright H; the winged badges of Bentley, Aston Martin, Mini, Chrysler and Genesis; Ferrari's prancing horse and the Stuttgart horse in the Porsche crest; and Mitsubishi's three diamonds next to Renault's single diamond.
How does the leaderboard work?
After you pass a level you can pick a nickname. Your total is your best score on each level and bonus round added up, so you climb by passing more levels and replaying for better runs. The weekly board starts fresh every Monday (UTC); the all-time board keeps everything. The top three get a crown.
Do I need an account? Is my progress saved?
No account, no email and no sign-up. Your stars and best scores are saved in your browser on this device. A nickname is only needed for the leaderboard, and offensive names are filtered out and can be reported by other players.
