The Ebro logo is the word EBRO in wide, heavy black capitals with no separate symbol. Ebro is a Spanish car brand based in Barcelona that was created in 2023 with Chery’s backing.

The logo is a pure wordmark. The four capital letters are heavy and squared, spaced widely apart, and set in black on a white background. There is no badge or graphic mark beside them.

The same lettering works as the Ebro emblem and the Ebro badge on the cars, and the name itself is the Ebro symbol. As a modern Ebro car logo it keeps a flat, simple design. This page offers the Ebro logo PNG with a transparent background.

Ebro Logo History

The old Ebro logo comes from the 1960s, when the name belonged to Motor Ibérica. A tractor of that decade carries it as a chrome badge in a long oval, with the letters EBRO raised in the middle.

The new Ebro logo is the wide black wordmark described above. It replaces the metal oval with plain lettering for the brand that revived the name in 2023.

Ebro History

Ebro is a Spanish automobile brand launched in 2023 with support from the Chinese industrial group Chery. It revives the commercial name of the former manufacturer Motor Ibérica.

Until the end of 2021 Nissan built cars in a factory in Barcelona’s Zona Franca, which it had acquired in the 1980s from Motor Ibérica. Production there centered on commercial and off-road models such as the Nissan Navara and the Nissan NV200, and the plant never recovered after the COVID-19 shutdown and a strike. A joint venture of four Spanish companies, EcoPower Automotive, then proposed to restart production with an electric pickup based on the Navara under the Ebro name. That vehicle did not go beyond a prototype.

In 2024 EcoPower Automotive, renamed EV Motors, agreed with Chery to start producing Chery models in Europe. Assembly began in November of that year, with a forecast of 150,000 cars and an investment of 400 million euros until 2029. At first the cars were assembled from kits of parts shipped from China, and the plan is to build them from scratch after modernizing the plant.
