The Delahaye logo is the name DELAHAYE in bold blue capitals inside an elongated blue hexagon. Delahaye was a French maker of luxury cars, trucks and commercial vehicles, founded in 1894 by Émile Delahaye and shut down in 1954.
Delahaye Logo
The Delahaye emblem is a pure wordmark. The letters are tall, heavy blue capitals with a lighter blue edge, and they fill a hexagon from side to side. The hexagon is stretched wide, with pointed left and right ends, and its outline is drawn in the same blue, so the whole Delahaye symbol uses a single colour on white.
On the cars, the Delahaye badge sat on the front of the vehicle at the radiator. Surviving cars also carry other plates: some show the name with the letters GFA beneath it, and one is a red and gold shield with the same lettering. The hexagonal blue badge is the one used for the Delahaye car logo and the Delahaye truck logo on this page.
This page offers the Delahaye logo PNG with a transparent background, so the blue hexagon can be placed on any layout.
Delahaye Logo History
The Delahaye logo history on this page covers the hexagonal wordmark badge, the form that appears on a 1939 Delahaye 135 cabriolet. Its design leaves out any figure or crest and relies on the name alone.

Delahaye History
Delahaye was a family-owned automobile manufacturing company, founded by Émile Delahaye in 1894 in Tours, France. Manufacturing moved to Paris after incorporation in 1898, with two brothers-in-law, George Morane and Leon Desmarais, as Émile Delahaye’s equal partners.
The company built a low-volume line of limited-production luxury cars with coachbuilt bodies, as well as trucks, utility and commercial vehicles, buses and fire trucks. It made a number of technical innovations in its early years. After setting up a racing department in 1932, it came to prominence in France in the mid-to-late 1930s. First came the record-breaking Type 138, then the Type 135, which developed into the short-wheelbase sports-racing Type 135CS, and then the V12 Types 145 and 155 racing cars.
The company faced setbacks during the Second World War and was taken over by amalgamation with its competitor Hotchkiss in 1954. Both were absorbed within months by the Brandt manufacturing group, which ended automotive products, and Delahaye closed at the end of 1954, taking Delage with it.
