London EV Company Brand History
The company traces its roots to 1919, when Robert “Bobby” Jones founded the Coventry coachbuilder Carbodies, whose successors include Manganese Bronze and LTI, later operating as the London Taxi Company. In 2009 Geely began acquiring shares in the predecessor Manganese Bronze Holdings, gaining full control after the company entered administration in 2012.
On 11 January 2013 Geely established The London Taxi Corporation Limited as a new legal entity. This marked the beginning of operations as The London Taxi Company from 2013 to 2017. A new factory at Ansty Park was announced in 2015, and in 2017 the company was renamed to London EV Company, or LEVC. The rename coincided with the launch of the new range-extended electric TX taxi and a strategic shift toward electric vehicles.

- Colors: Thick black border with white outline, left half blue gradient with six stars, right half red gradient.
- Changes: “Englon” displayed in cursive font at the top of the emblem.

- Design: Round emblem showing the golden Britannia figure with reduced shadow for a flatter appearance.
- Colors: Dark blue border with metallic silver outline and a flatter blue gradient on the left half.
- Changes: “The London Taxi Company” rendered in white sans-serif font filling the border.
- Context: Aligned with the 2013 company restructuring and new ownership structure.
2017 – present: LEVC Pegasus Era

The current logo was launched alongside the 2017 company renaming to London EV Company. This marked a complete departure from previous Britannia imagery toward a new symbol focused on speed and modernity.
- Design: Glossy black circle featuring rounded silver wings on the sides and a stylized Pegasus head.
- Colors: Predominantly black color palette with silver outline and silver wings.
- Changes: “LEVC” shown in simple sans-serif font positioned above the central symbol.
