The Bolwell logo is a shield split down the middle, black on the left and orange on the right, with the name BOLWELL across the centre. Bolwell is an Australian maker of fibreglass sports cars from Melbourne, and the family firm behind it still builds lightweight composite parts.
Bolwell Logo
The Bolwell emblem is a small shield with a white outline. The left half is glossy black and the right half is orange, and a white band across the middle carries the word BOLWELL in black capitals. The image used here is a photograph of the badge as fitted to the cars, so the shine of the enamel and the raised edge are visible. This Bolwell badge is a plain two-colour shield, and as a Bolwell symbol it is easy to pick out on a car. This page offers the Bolwell logo PNG with a transparent background.
Bolwell Logo History
The Bolwell logo history comes down to one badge: the black and orange shield with the name on a white band. As a Bolwell car logo it is a plain design with two colours and a name.
Bolwell History
Bolwell Corporation Pty. Ltd. is a composite manufacturing company in Melbourne, Australia, based in Mordialloc. It specialises in fibreglass fabrication and lightweight structural components. Bolwell Cars began in 1962 as a maker of fibreglass car bodies for other car companies in Australia, but it soon moved on to designing and building its own cars.
Bolwell made sports cars from 1962 to 1979. It created five commercial models and about 800 cars in total, and none was as well known as the Mk VIII Nagari. A new company of the same name began producing new cars in 2009, after several years of concept and show cars. The founder, Campbell Bolwell, was still designing cars when the Nagari 500 was released in 2019, with a carbon and Kevlar tub, a mid-mounted Chevrolet LS3 V8 and an Audi six-speed transaxle. Bolwell is still a family company, managed by Vaughan Bolwell.
