Tecnologia Automotiva Catarinense Logo
The Tecnologia Automotiva Catarinense emblem combines a ring and a word. On the left, a tilted oval outline passes around a blue, leaf-like blade, and the whole ring is shaded in metallic blue and silver. On the right, the three letters TAC are drawn in wide italic capitals with a brushed silver-grey finish. In this design the Tecnologia Automotiva Catarinense symbol uses the short form of the company name instead of the full Portuguese name.
Here the Tecnologia Automotiva Catarinense car logo identifies a company that builds a single four-wheel-drive SUV, and the Tecnologia Automotiva Catarinense badge is the same ring and lettering. This page offers the Tecnologia Automotiva Catarinense logo PNG with a transparent background, so the silver and blue shading can be placed on light or dark layouts.
Tecnologia Automotiva Catarinense Logo History
On this page the Tecnologia Automotiva Catarinense logo history follows a single design: the blue ring with the italic silver TAC lettering. It is the mark of the company behind the TAC Stark.
Tecnologia Automotiva Catarinense History
Tecnologia Automotiva Catarinense is an automotive company established by Adolfo Cesar dos Santos in 2004 in Joinville, Brazil. With financial support from the development bank BNDES, the plant opened on March 13, 2008, after four years of construction.
Working with the Portuguese company Datasul, TAC developed the SUV TAC Stark. Most of the vehicle’s parts come from MVC Soluções em Plástico Ltda., a subsidiary of Marcopolo S.A. The company makes only the four-wheel-drive Stark, with about 1,200 units produced per year. As of 2012 the vehicle was to be available for export to other countries.
In 2015 it was announced that the Chinese carmaker Zotye Auto would buy TAC, but the deal did not go through. After three years off the market, TAC returned to producing the Stark in 2018. In 2021 it announced a partnership with a Brazilian holding company that intended to distribute the Stark in Africa.
