KrAZ Logo: Meaning and History

The KrAZ logo is a teal oval mark with a swirl cut into it, set to the left of the name KRAZ in bold teal capitals. KrAZ is a Ukrainian truck maker based in Kremenchuk that builds heavy-duty off-road vehicles and other special-purpose trucks.

KrAZ Logo

The KrAZ emblem combines a symbol and a wordmark in a single colour. The symbol is a wide teal oval with curved white cut-outs inside it that read like a pair of wings or a flowing wave. The name follows on the right in heavy, wide capitals with straight, squared strokes.

The KrAZ symbol and wordmark are teal on a white background, so the mark stays clear at small sizes. This KrAZ truck logo is the KrAZ badge of the brand’s trucks, and the page offers the KrAZ logo PNG with a transparent background.

KrAZ Logo History

The KrAZ logo in use today is the teal oval symbol with the KRAZ wordmark, drawn in a single flat colour.

KrAZ History

KrAZ is short for Kremenchutskyi Avtomobilnyi Zavod, the Kremenchuk Automobile Plant, and the company is also called AvtoKrAZ. The plant in Kremenchuk, Ukraine, was founded in 1958 and builds trucks and other special-purpose vehicles, particularly heavy-duty off-road models. Its models include the KrAZ-214, KrAZ-255, KrAZ-260, KrAZ-5233 and KrAZ-6322.

The factory was incorporated as a holding company combining several other factories nationwide. It became the industrial wing of the finance-industrial group Finance and Credit, which also held the Finance and Credit bank. On November 6, 2022, the government of President Volodymyr Zelenskyy used martial law to nationalise the company.
