The Ioniq logo is a light blue wordmark with the letters IONIQ in wide-spaced capitals. Ioniq is the electric car sub-brand of the South Korean maker Hyundai Motor Company, launched in 2020.

The Ioniq emblem is a plain wordmark. The five capital letters I, O, N, I and Q are drawn in a thin, even stroke with rounded shapes, and wide gaps between them give the name an open look. The whole design is one colour, a light sky blue, set on a white background in this version. The wordmark itself is the Ioniq symbol, and the Q ends in a small tail at the lower right.

This Ioniq car logo is the sign of the electric models, and it works as the Ioniq badge on the vehicles. The page offers the Ioniq logo PNG with a transparent background.

Ioniq Logo History

The Ioniq logo history is short: the design shown here is the wordmark used for the sub-brand, with light blue capital letters and no extra symbol.

Ioniq History

IONIQ is an electric car sub-brand and a division of Hyundai Motor Company, established in 2020 as part of Hyundai’s plan to reach 1 million electric vehicle sales a year by 2025. The Ioniq brand was projected to contribute 560,000 of those sales. The brand is based in Seoul.

The name appeared earlier on the 2012 Hyundai i-oniq concept, a small sporty hatchback with a battery-electric drivetrain and a range-extending gasoline engine. From 2016 to 2022 it was also used for the Hyundai Ioniq, a compact liftback offered as a gasoline hybrid, a plug-in hybrid or a full battery-electric car.

On 10 August 2020 Hyundai Motor Group announced the Ioniq brand in London, reserved for electric cars. The first vehicle was the Ioniq 5, a crossover first sold in 2021, followed by the Ioniq 6 sedan in 2022 and the large Ioniq 9 SUV, whose first cars were delivered in May 2025.
