The Covini Engineering logo is a blue mark of two horizontal bars forming the letters C and F, followed by the word “Covini” in black lowercase with “engineering” in small italics beneath. Covini Engineering is an Italian maker of sports cars from Castel San Giovanni, in the province of Piacenza, best known for the six-wheeled C6W.

The Covini Engineering emblem combines a symbol and a wordmark. The symbol is a stylised blue mark made of two horizontal bars that read as a C and an F. Next to it the name Covini is set in black lowercase letters, and the word “engineering” sits underneath in smaller italic type, aligned to the right edge of the name. The blue mark is the only coloured part, so the Covini Engineering logo reads as a blue and black design on a plain background.

The mark is the Covini Engineering symbol, the Covini Engineering badge on the cars and so the Covini Engineering car logo. The page offers the Covini Engineering logo PNG with a transparent background.

Covini Engineering History

Ferruccio Covini formed Covini Engineering in 1978 in Castel San Giovanni, near Piacenza. The first prototype, the T44, was a 4x4 off-road vehicle with a body made entirely of flat, interchangeable panels and a 2,000 cc turbocharged diesel engine. It never went beyond that single prototype.

Over the next 20 years Covini developed several two-door sports cars with diesel engines: the T46, B24, T40 and C36. They all stayed at the prototype stage except the B24, which the company says was produced, with about nine made.

In 2008, after several years of renderings and photographs, Covini officially announced the C6W. Its six-wheel layout, with two axles and four wheels at the front, draws on the Tyrrell P34 Formula One car of the 1970s. Besides its own prototypes, the company has done consulting and design work, including the redesign of the Cadillac STS for the European market and the design of the Callaway C7. It also worked on the Dragonfly Project, an attempt to build an ultralight helicopter.
