The Zacua logo shows a white bird with spread wings on a black shield with a red outline, with the name ZACUA across the top. Zacua is a Mexican brand of electric city cars based in Mexico City, founded in 2017 and owned by the parking group COPEMSA through its subsidiary Motores Limpios.

The Zacua symbol is a shield with a thick black border and a thin red line inside it. The background is black, and the bird is drawn in white with angular, sharp-cut wings and a tail that points straight down. ZACUA is set in widely spaced white capitals above the bird’s head.

The shield works as the Zacua emblem on its own and as the Zacua badge on the front of the brand’s electric cars. The red, black and white palette gives the Zacua car logo a clean, high-contrast look. This page offers the Zacua logo PNG with a transparent background.

What the Zacua logo means

The Zacua logo meaning starts with the name. Zacua comes from the Nahuatl language and refers to the zacua mayor, a bird native to eastern Mexico that is also called the Montezuma oropendola. The bird is the company’s logo, so the white figure on the shield represents the brand’s name.

Zacua Logo History

In the Zacua logo history there is a single design so far. The brand has used one badge since it launched around 2017, with the name set above the bird.

Zacua History

Zacua was presented in 2017 in Mexico City at an event at the Hotel Presidente Intercontinental. Two electric models were shown there, a coupé and a hatchback, later named the Zacua MX2 and Zacua MX3. For their development the company worked with the French manufacturer Automobiles Chatenet, whose internal combustion CH30 provided the platform that was converted to an electric powertrain.

Vehicle production began in April 2018 at a plant in the Puebla 2000 Industrial Park in the state of Puebla. The cars are assembled by hand, and the team is made up mostly of women. The brand started with 40% domestic components and later raised local content to 60%. It is considered the first Mexican company to develop, produce and sell an electric vehicle assembled entirely in the country.
