The Frazer Nash logo is a diamond-shaped badge with the name FRAZERNASH in black capitals and a pair of red stripes along its upper and lower edges. Frazer Nash was a British sports car maker that built cars from 1922 until 1957.
Frazer Nash Logo
The Frazer Nash emblem is a lozenge with a polished metal rim. The field inside is pale silver, the name runs across the middle in black block letters, and two red enamel stripes follow the slanted edges above and below the lettering. The stripes break off in the middle, which gives the Frazer Nash badge its pointed, symmetrical look. Red, black and silver are the whole palette, and the design is simple enough to read on a small radiator plate.
On the cars this Frazer Nash car logo sits at the front, on the radiator shell or grille just below the filler cap. Rather than a drawn mascot, the Frazer Nash symbol is a plain enamel badge. This page offers the Frazer Nash logo PNG with a transparent background.
Frazer Nash Logo History
In the Frazer Nash logo history, one shape hardly changed. The old Frazer Nash logo, photographed on a 1927 Super Sports, is a diamond with the name written as one word, FRAZERNASH, between two red stripes on each side.

A badge photographed on a 1933 car shows the same diamond with a small change in the lettering. The name is split into FRAZER and NASH with a visible gap, and the black letters are slimmer. The stripes, the rim and the proportions are the same.

A badge on the grille of a 1954 car reads FRAZERNASH in one word again, in the same diamond. That one-word diamond is the logo shown at the top of this page.
Frazer Nash History
The brand started in 1922 with Frazer Nash Limited, a company founded by the engineer Archibald Frazer-Nash. It collapsed financially in 1927, and a new company, AFN Limited, took over. Harold John Aldington gained control of AFN in 1929.
Until the Second World War AFN built a small number of sports cars badged Frazer Nash with a distinctive multi-chain transmission. After the war it made another 85 sports cars with conventional transmissions before production ended in 1957. The UK agents for BMW arranged coachwork and modifications on some of these cars and badged them Frazer Nash BMW.
AFN was also the British agent for Porsche, and control of the company passed from the Aldington family to Porsche in 1987.
